THE HERETICS

These are a few of the twenty some busts I named after the many Christian heresies.
These three are The Gnostic, The Manachian, and The Antinomian for example. They all looked to earnest and self righteous I couldn't resist. Their interiors are solid wood and the exteriors are steel cans pounded and nailed to the wooden armatures. I showed these at Somerhill Gallery in Chapel Hill in 1996.
